Under chairmanship of David Wray the international CFO Alliance Work Group scheduled meetings for the months of April – July for the purpose of drafting a response letter to the IFRS Foundation in response to the request for comments on the proposed climate and sustainability reporting standards.
The proposed of drafting the response letter will be as follows:
- Host inaugural meeting and high level discussion leading to developing a work plan.
- Host second meeting to agree work plan and initiate local work group meetings per national jurisdiction.
- Local work groups convene to review, analyze, discuss proposed standards.
- Appoint project leaders to obtain and collate views.
- Host third meeting to compare and synchronize national views.
- Host fourth meeting to finalize draft response letter and submit to CFO Alliance leadership for consideration and final approval.
- Submit final letter to IFRS Foundation.
